Performance Challenges

By midnight the Survivors had received a series of ‘Performance‘ challenges.

In Lab 1 a Case (Courtesy of the Host) was found containing video cameras, scripts and props.

The first challenge required them to recreate (from a script provided), film (Zoom cameras also provided) and upload (to a computer provided) scenes from our favourite Zombie episode of ‘Community‘, such as the cat scene (hence the fluffy cat squished into the case).

But the Survivors vs Zombies dance-off was the most sectacular performance of the entire event. Both the Zombies and the Survivors were instructed to practice the Thriller coreography… but only the Zombies were given the advantage of having the video clip projected on a large wall in their green room to assist them train.

However, one of the most charming of all the Survivors, Sophie, knew all the moves and managed to train the whole group without any sound or video.

By 2am the Host made an announcement for the Survivors to re-group in Lab 2 to await further instructions. The whole site was in darkness and they made their way through some small groups of loitering Zombies to get there.

Lab 1 and Lab 2 have a glass wall between them, and once the Survivors were gathered in Lab 2… the lights went on to reveal a huge horde of Zombies facing them in Lab 1. Then The Host announced a competition… A Thriller Dance Off. And Michael Jacksons Thriller track was loudly played over the PA system.

And the Survivors were the unanimous winners!

… So they got a massive pizza delivered, Courtesy of the Host.
